SEE WHAT DANCERS ARE SAYING...

GET INTO DANCING SHAPE

All dancers know there's a difference between being in shape and being in dancing shape. The information presented in this course is aimed specifically at getting you into dancing shape, using exercises and routines to build strength and flexibility in areas that benefit dancers.

WHY LEARN FROM TARA?

I've been teaching professionally for 10 years, and I created this course with my students in mind. I know what common problems students encounter, and this course has set out to solve them all.

As a teacher, I know that this type of information isn't included in most classes. This course contains secrets that all professional dancers know and apply, but rarely impart to their students. You can expect 21 days full of useful technical information applied through routines and exercises to help you feel instant improvement, and enjoy yourself along the way.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

  • Dancers of all levels & styles that wish to improve their technique and understanding of their bodies
  • People who struggle with balance, flexibility, strength, & coordination
  • Students who want to get into "dancing shape"
  • Dancers who need help with the mental aspect of dancing
  • Students who feel stuck, like they've plateaued and aren't making progress in their dancing

WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE EFFECTIVE?

CUMULATIVE FORMAT

Each lesson includes a theory video and a flow video. The course syllabus recommends repeating the flow portion of each lesson in conjunction with the class schedule. For example, before completing week 2 strength lesson, the student will first repeat week 1 strength lesson. This format ensures progress and offers a training program the student can continue to use, well after they've finished the course.

MENTAL EXERCISES

Like any physical activity, dancing and learning to dance require equal parts mental and physical awareness. Many dancers don't put enough emphasis on the mental aspect of dancing, and as such, they never reach their full potential. This course includes mental exercises that have been scientifically proven to increase progress when learning a physical skill.

ROUTINE BASED APPROACH

The goal of this course is to offer routines and exercises that will increase the students' understanding and ability. The best way to incorporate techniques into your dancing is through applied learning. By repeating the simple yet challenging routines offered in this course, the student will immediately start to discover different ways of moving that are invaluable to their practice.
